FAQs

Where can we get your beer?

We currently distribute draft and package in 3 Austin counties (Hays, Williamson, and Travis). Our distributor is Capitol Wright.

Package

Six packs of Thirsty Goat Bottles are available in HEB, Whole Foods, Central Market, liquor stores and convenience stores. We will be expanding our package selection in the near future so hold tight! Your favorite styles will make it into bottles soon. We are currently not canning.

Draft

We offer our Thirsty Goat Amber, Buckethead IPA, and Yellow Armadillo Wheat year round in draft. We also offer a seasonal draft selection that rotates every few months.

We do sell a limited amount of kegs for private consumption at Party Barn, Twin Liquors, or SPEC’s. We recommend calling the store ahead of time to ensure stock. We do not sell kegs directly from the brewery.

When are you open to the public?

We are currently open on Saturday from 11-3 pm for brewery tours and tastings. Please be sure and sign up online for tours. We have two tasting options that are offered at the door when you arrive. We do not sell individual pints or fill growlers.

Can we rent the tasting room?

Yes, our tasting room is available for rent. Please email Allison, at allison@thirstyplanet.beer for more information.

Where are you located?

We are located at 11160 Circle Dr Austin, TX 78736. Right off the south end of Circle Drive down the street from the Zoo.

Is food sold on site?

You are welcome to bring any food that you like to the brewery, but we rarely have vendors out on Saturday. Vendors will be posted on facebook if we have one out any given Saturday.

Are dogs allowed at the brewery?

Yes, we are allowing dogs now. Please make sure they are on a leash and in your control. We do ask that pups stay out of the brew house.

Do I have to get tickets for the tour?

Yes, we haven't always followed this rule very strictly but we are starting to. Tours are at noon, 1 pm, and 2 pm. We have a big space, but it can fill up quick. The ticketing helps alleviate any overcrowding issues that may occur.

What are the employment opportunities at Thirsty Planet?

Volunteering is the best way to get involved if you are aspiring for employment, want to learn more about the beer industry, or just love beer! Visit us on a Saturday to talk to an employee about volunteer days and options.

Suggestions, Comments, Complaints?

We are committed to offering a product of the utmost quality and freshness. If our standards are compromised we want to know! Or if you just love our beer we want to know too! Please email Allison Kelly at allison@thirstyplanet.net with questions, comments, or inquiries.
